  I'm old and ugly and tired and decided that I've had enough stupidity.

  I don't understand a lot of the big controverses going on in the world. They seem to be much todo about nothing. In my parents time it was unheard of to say bad words in public. have you seen the " I Love Lucy " show? Did you know that even though they were really married and that while she was pregnant with her husband's child they had to have twin beds on the show and were absolutely forbiddin from saying the word pregnant ?

 Tonight I watched a rerun of " Sex in the City " and one of the cast members was in six scenes, in three of them she was in bed simulating intercourse. It's a half hour show. How times have changed. Now it's common to hear actors in Prime Time shows saying words like " I'm pissed off ", or " she's a bitch "

 What's my point? Times change and social mores change. Today the hot topics are gay marriage and sexual predators. Now gay marriage seems to be a non-topic to me. Homosexuality is just not an issue, I remember reading about studies that found homosexual cattle and horses in breeding herds. That's important if you're breeding livestock. It's been 10 years or more since they have been able to document a child's sexual orentation by looking at their hormone balance.  What's that Mean? It means that homosexuality is a normal part of the Human spectrum. Some people are more masculine then others and some are more feminine. here's the point, Homosexuality, bisexuality, even asexuality are a normal part of Humanity.

 What's my point? This whole gay marriage thing is a non-issue. Homosexual people are a natural part of the Human herd and to deny them the rights we give to straight people is just plain wrong. All the time and trouble we're spending on gay marriage is a waste. Let me rephrase this for the Religious Right, homosexuality is a normal part of nature. That means God made them that way. To refute homosexuality as evil or unnatural is to refute God's Work. It's the same thing as saying blue or brown eyes are evil.

  Our children will look back at this controversy the same way we look back at Lucy not being able to say pregnant
